The group not only cultivates and maintains classical soil science areas (soil genetics and classification, soil mapping, soil sampling, soil physics, soil biology, soil chemistry, soil protection, soil improvement) but also deals with the testing, development, and practical integration of modern methods, tools, and instruments in soil science (remote sensing, GIS, proxy sensing technologies, precision, digital soil mapping). The group actively participates in numerous domestic and international research projects, collaborating closely with the Soil Fertility Management Group in both education and research.
