Last modified: 12. February 2024

The professional internship is the part of the education that, within the specified duration defined by the requirements of higher education vocational training, undergraduate, and master's degree programs, provides an opportunity to apply acquired knowledge and practical skills in a workplace and position corresponding to the vocational qualification. It aims to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge, gain familiarity with the workplace and its processes, and practice professional competencies.

The professional internship site refers to a legal entity or an economic organization with which a cooperation agreement has been established between the higher education institution and the entity, and which, based on the student's employment contract according to Section 44(1)(a) of Act Nftv., provides continuous professional internship. This entity is registered by the Educational Office as a professional internship site in the data of the higher education institution.
